Rake
A small portion of each pot in cash games or an additional fee when registering for tournaments is charged as compensation for providing our games and player services. The amount charged is called the rake.
Cash games
- The rate varies depending on the game type and the number of players at the table.
- It will never exceed a capped amount.
- At lower limits, we take a smaller rake.
- We do not charge rake if no flop is dealt; this is known as no flop, no drop.
Tournaments
- Rake is charged when registering and is in addition to the buy-in.
- No per-hand rake is taken in tournaments.
- An additional entry fee may be taken when rebuying or adding-on in a rebuy tournament (the amount is indicated at registration).
Visit the How to Play section of our website for a detailed breakdown of how the calculation for each game type, stakes, and the number of players is conducted.
