Play Money chips top-up option

New players receive 35,000 complimentary Play Money chips just for creating their Stars Account.

You can also top-up your Play Money balance with 15,000 chips every 4 hours.

If you don't have enough chips left, the option to top-up is available in our poker games at registration / buy-in or through rebuys.

At buy-in / registration stage:

Simply select a Play Money Cash Game with a minimum buy-in higher than your current balance. Or, choose any Play Money tournament, Sit & Go, or Spin & Go with a buy-in higher than you have available.

Once you click on Take Seat (Cash Games) or Play Now (tournaments), you'll be given the option to top-up via the buy-in window if you don't have enough chips to cover the buy-in (and if your last top-up was at least 4 hours ago).

You do not actually have to join the game or register to the tournament, it's just an easy way to top-up. The 15,000 free chips will be added to your overall balance and you can then join any game you like.

Tip: To top-up quickly, go to Sit & Go and look for the tournaments with the biggest buy-ins (f.ex. the 100M events, if available) or check if the 1B event is offered under Tourney and top-up via this game. Remember that you do not actually have to register.

Through Rebuys:

If you play at a Play Money Cash Game table and your chip stack drops below the maximum buy-in, you can make a rebuy by clicking on the chip tray or on Options at the top of the table (depending on your table theme), followed by Add More Chips.

The top-up option will be displayed in the rebuy window if your overall balance is too low for a rebuy (and if you haven't had a top-up in the previous 4 hours). By activating the top-up, the 15,000 chips will be added to your overall balance and you can then decide whether to rebuy or not.

On Mobile:

You can also top-up your chips via the lobby of our app. Simply select Play Money above the games lobby and tap on Free Chips towards the bottom of the screen.
