Transferring settings and player notes (desktop)
It is possible to move your personalized settings and player notes to another computer. Player notes can also be merged with other notes files if desired.
First, you will need to make a copy of the settings file (the file is called or ends in user.ini or user), and the player notes file (called notes.user.xml, where 'user' is your username).
Open our software, and from the lobby choose: Help → Open My Settings Folder
Once you have opened the settings folder you must exit the software before doing the next step. Locate your settings and notes files, and you can either email it to yourself or copy it to an external hard drive.
Both files are now ready to be added to our software on the other computer.
To add the notes, open our software's lobby and follow these steps:
Tools → Player Notes Editor → Edit Player Notes → Import Notes
Find the notes file you copied and press Open.
Next, the settings file can be transferred.
Open our software, and from the lobby choose: Help → Open My Settings Folder
Again, once you have opened the settings folder, close our software before doing the next step. Copy the settings file you saved from the other computer directly into the settings folder, if you are asked to overwrite, accept.
