What is account sharing and using multiple accounts?

Account sharing means allowing another person to access or play on your account.

Using multiple accounts means creating or using more than one account.

These actions are not allowed and breach the General Terms.

Are there any exceptions?

In very limited cases, exceptions may apply.

For example, if your internet connection drops during a tournament, another person may complete the tournament for you.

 

What should I do if I suspect a player is breaking this rule?

You can report suspected account sharing or multiple accounts to PokerStars.

 

How do I report account sharing or multiple accounts?

Contact Support and include all relevant information.

Use the subject line:

PokerStars will review the reported accounts and take action if needed.

For privacy reasons, PokerStars cannot share the outcome of the investigation.
